Hey there, I’m Liz Gray: A multi-platform journalist, social strategist and creative director with more than 15 years of experience elevating lifestyle content.

As a supervising producer, managing editor and social storytelling leader for household brands like HGTV, Food Network and Warner Bros. Discovery, I led teams to create everything from long-form original series and full-scale productions to scrappy, quick-turnaround social videos about food, design, travel and pop culture.

I’m at my best when I’m deep in creative development, reimagining stories for emerging platforms or problem-solving on the fly with an espresso in hand. I’m based in Knoxville, Tenn., and am available to collaborate across the U.S.

Handmade Home

The Challenge: Develop a YouTube series to capture new audiences and increase watch time for HGTV Home (fka HGTV Handmade.)

My Role: Created and executive-produced Handmade Home, which peeks inside the homes of artists, creatives and makers to showcase the unique ways they make their spaces feel like home. I led development, casting and production for more than 100 episodes.

The Impact: This series is now the flagship content for HGTV Home, and serves as a key subscriber growth driver and digital talent development pipeline.
